Welcome to Aapanam, operated by Aapanam Global Pvt Ltd("Company", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website at aapanam.in and all related services, including purchases, warranty registrations, and customer support.
By accessing our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of our website and services immediately.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Aapanam Global Pvt Ltd under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Please read them carefully.
2. About Aapanam
Aapanam Global Pvt Ltd is an India-based manufacturer of BLDC (Brushless DC) ceiling fans — an energy-efficient alternative to conventional ceiling fans. Our fans consume up to 70% less electricity while delivering superior airflow and silent operation.

We sell our products directly through our website and through an authorised network of dealers across India. All products are manufactured at our Ghiloth facility and carry BIS and BEE certifications.

Product Descriptions
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images, and technical details on our website are accurate. However, we do not warrant that all descriptions are error-free. If a product received differs materially from its description, you may return it under our Return Policy.
Pricing Policy
All prices displayed on our website are in Indian Rupees (INR). We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. However, once an order is confirmed, the price at the time of order placement will apply. We will honour the confirmed price even if the price changes subsequently.
GST & Taxes
Prices displayed on the website are inclusive of all applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless explicitly stated otherwise. A GST-compliant invoice will be issued for every purchase. Our GST registration is as required under the GST Act for sales made within India.
Discounts & Offers
Promotional offers, coupon codes, and discounts are subject to their specific terms and validity periods. We reserve the right to withdraw or modify any offer at any time. Offers cannot be combined unless explicitly stated. Misuse of discount codes may result in order cancellation.
5. Orders & Payments

Placing an order on aapanam.in constitutes an offer to purchase. Your order is accepted and a binding contract is formed only when you receive an order confirmation email with a unique Order ID. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, stock unavailability, suspected fraud, or payment failure.

Same-day or next-day delivery may be available if you purchase through your nearest authorised Aapanam dealer. Availability depends on dealer stock.

Free Shipping
Free shipping is available on all orders above our free shipping threshold as displayed at checkout. Orders below the threshold attract a standard shipping fee as quoted at checkout.

Risk of Loss
Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. If a shipment is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us immediately at [email protected].
Deliveries are made via our logistics partner Shiprocket and their carrier network (including Delhivery, BlueDart, DTDC, and others). Delivery estimates are indicative and may vary due to factors beyond our control such as natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions.
Note: We currently deliver within India only. International shipping is available for select export orders — please contact us at [email protected] for international enquiries.
7. Return & Refund Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our return and refund policy is designed in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Sale of Goods Act, 1930.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return the product within 7 days of delivery — no questions asked. The product must be unused, in its original packaging with all accessories and documentation.
💚 Refund/Resolution: Full refund to original payment method within 5–7 business days of receiving the returned product.
Between 8 and 15 days of delivery, we offer exchange for a different model or variant of equal or higher value (with price difference payment). Cash refunds are not available in this window unless the product is found defective.

If your product develops a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, you are entitled to a free replacement or repair at our discretion. Please contact our service team to initiate a warranty claim.

If your product arrives visibly damaged due to transit, please refuse delivery and notify us within 24 hours with photographic evidence. We will arrange an immediate replacement at no additional cost.

8. Warranty Terms
All Aapanam BLDC fans are backed by a manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Please refer to the warranty card included with your product for the specific warranty period applicable to your model.

- •Damage due to misuse, negligence or accidents
- •Damage from power surges or improper voltage
- •Unauthorised modification or repair
- •Normal wear and tear (including blade finish)
- •Damage caused by improper installation
- •Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents) after delivery
- •Products used in commercial settings without prior approval

9. Intellectual Property
All content on aapanam.in — including but not limited to the AAPANAM brand name, logo, taglines, product images, descriptions, website design, graphics, text, and software — is the exclusive property of Aapanam Global Pvt Ltd and is protected under applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Aapanam Global Pvt Ltd and its directors, employees, agents, and suppliers shall not be liable for:
- •Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or website
- •Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities
- •Damage to property caused by improper installation or use of our products
- •Any interruption or cessation of our website or services
- •Any errors or omissions in product descriptions, pricing, or availability
- •Actions of third-party service providers including delivery partners and payment gateways
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including but not limited to:

Jurisdiction: Subject to the dispute resolution clause below, the courts of Rajasthan, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of our services.
12. Dispute Resolution
We are committed to resolving any disputes amicably. In the event of a dispute, the following three-tier process shall apply:

Arbitration
If the matter is not resolved through direct contact within 30 days, either party may refer it to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, seated at Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Courts of Rajasthan
Matters not resolvable through arbitration shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Rajasthan, India. Both parties consent to this jurisdiction and waive any objection to venue.
Consumer Forum: Nothing in these Terms prevents you from approaching the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

- •Post a prominent notice on our website for at least 7 days
- •Send an email notification to registered users for significant changes
Your continued use of our website or services following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must discontinue using our services.
